Images of Women Trying to Look Dressed Up and Failing
Women share hilarious photos of their dress shopping fails that look NOTHING like they did online
Facebook page Knock Off Nightmares has revealed some of the funniest frock-y horrors
DISGRUNTLED women have taken to Facebook to vent about their online shopping fails.
Customers took to 'Knock Off Nightmares' to share hilarious photographs of dresses they bought that look absolutely nothing like the item on the website.
From boob-bearing halternecks to bright orange taffeta bridesmaids gowns, these looks are more likely to end up in the frock-y horror show than the best dressed lists.
One unhappy shopper ordered what she thought was a floor-sweeping pastel pink gown that featured rose detailing around the neckline.
In reality she was sent a luminous tango-hued nightmare, which had a netted skirt.
She commented: "My best friend spent £440 (AUD$745) on these HIDEOUS bridesmaid dresses and still hasn't got her money back - they've offered her £15 (AUD$25) as compensation."
Another woman ordered what she thought was a pink chiffon summer dress featuring strappy detailing and a dipped hemline.
She was actually sent a frock that barely fitted her and ended up being comically X-rated.
"Reality vs. Expectation. This why you don't order online," she said.
"The worst and thinnest material in life. My boobs don't even fit. It was so tight that I imagine that's what a mammogram feels like."
One shopper raged "what the actual f***" after receiving a slinky wrap dress that didn't have enough material.
Another was disappointed with her frumpy black lace midi and one poor woman was sent an enormous white sailor dress.
Some brave women have taken a risk and ordered their wedding dresses online – with disastrous results.

One gold-hued strapless ballgown looked more like something you'd see on a toilet roll dolly than a glamorous bride.
But these aren't the first customers to be disappointed with their online purchases.
